'Jurassic World' release draws closer...

As the release of one of this year’s most anticipated sequels draws closer, the film’s American-born director, Colin Trevorrow, told Italian pop culture site ‘Badtaste’ that he won’t be directing any further Jurassic Park films. He’s quoted as saying, “Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie…I would be involved in some way, but not as director.”

The film stars Guardian’s own, Chris Pratt, as one of the onsite staff at the well-established dinosaur theme park, off the coast of Isla Nublar. The park is owned by the Masrani Global Corporation and at the corporation’s request, the park’s geneticists create a hybrid dinosaur known as Indominus rex, to boost visitor attendance; as you can imagine things don’t go too well after that! But surely our Starlord can save the day, right?
